Terror

Terror, is from the French terreur, from Latin terror meaning “great fear”, a noun derived from the Latin verb terrere meaning “to frighten”, is a policy of political repression and violence intended to subdue political opposition. The term was first used for the Reign of Terror imposed by the Jacobins during the French Revolution. Modern instances of terror include red terror or white terror.

The Gran Via is one of the main streets of Madrid (Spain). Started in Alcalá Street and ends at the Plaza of Spain. In the latter aspect is famous for its theaters, but in recent years some have closed and others have successfully converted to musical theater, so that the section between the Plaza de Callao and of Spain is known as the Broadway of Madrid. The network section between San Luis and Plaza de Callao now houses numerous shops of international fashion chains.
